1. What this statement covers
This statement describes how AI Survivors handles the personal data you provide when you complete the AI Survival Scan. For our general privacy and cookie policy, please see the privacy & cookie policy and the GDPR page. Where this document is silent, those documents apply in addition.
AI Survivors is the data controller for this processing.

2. What scan data we process
When you complete and submit the scan, we process:
- Contact details: your first name, last name and (business) email address
- Company details: company name, website, industry, team size and optionally a LinkedIn company page
- Scan answers: your answers about the current state of AI, processes and resources in your organisation, plus any notes you add yourself
- Technical data: data needed to run the scan securely, such as a verification against automated abuse (bot protection)
Please do not enter special-category or sensitive personal data in the free-text fields; the fields are not intended for that.
3. What we use this data for
We use the scan data to:
- calculate your AI Survival Score and produce a personalised report;
- make that report available to you and send it by email;
- send follow-up emails about your scan — for example a reminder of your report or the next steps that go with it;
- improve our scan and services.
4. Legal basis
| Purpose | Legal basis (GDPR) |
|---|---|
| Calculating the score and delivering the report | Performance at your request / contract (Art. 6(1)(b)) |
| Follow-up emails about your scan | Consent, given when you submit the scan (Art. 6(1)(a)) |
| Bot protection and security | Legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)) |
When you submit the scan you explicitly agree that we may contact you by email about your scan and the follow-up on it. You can withdraw this consent at any time, including via the unsubscribe link in every email or via privacy@aisurvivors.com.
5. Retention period
We keep your scan data for a maximum of 2 years after your last contact or activity, unless a legal retention obligation requires a longer period. After that we delete or anonymise the data.
6. Having your data deleted
You can request access to, correction of or deletion of your scan data at any time. To do so, send a message to privacy@aisurvivors.com. We respond within 30 days. For a full overview of your rights as a data subject, see the GDPR page.
7. Sharing with third parties
We do not share your scan data with third parties for commercial purposes. To deliver the scan and the report we use carefully selected processors (such as hosting, email and AI services), with whom data processing agreements have been concluded in accordance with Art. 28 GDPR. A current list is available on request via privacy@aisurvivors.com.
8. Security
We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data. The details of our internal security measures are documented in our information security policy; see also the Information Security page.
9. Complaints
If you believe we are not handling your data correctly, you can file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens, autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl). We appreciate it if you contact us first via privacy@aisurvivors.com.
